Retro print Scrap Book

I've been meaning to get into the twee world of scrap-booking. I always come home from family days out with ticket stubs or leaflets that end up in the bin, whereas they could be made into a book of memories.

TK Maxx (Bangor Branch) have dozens of scrap book kits in their clearance sale right now. I picked this Home print large one for £5. They have even bigger versions for wedding photo scrap booking.

Lovely quality paper.

Eames Era Plant Table BARGAIN!

You may remember the object I'm lusting after, since obtaining the boat bar, is a mid-century, multi-level plant display table.

In the interim I've ended up with two little single pot stands similar to this one. It's currently on eBay 3 leg glass top side/end table RETRO VINTAGE KITSCH with no bids, £10 and £6 shipping. This is a bloody bargain for one of these in this condition, and it would be mine, alas I've no room left!

I'm hoping one of my readers will grab this beauty, please let me know if you do.

Flamingo print Cardigan (Jean's cardie, from Eastenders)

I found this amazing cardigan two years ago in Bay Trading Company, only £15, loved it. Wore it twice and the next week spotted it on Eastenders on one of the characters.
Bit embarrassing, but when the cardigan is being used to emphasise the character's mental illness, its time to put that baby on eBay.

I ended up doubling my money, selling the flamingo knit to an American buyer.

Moomins Overnight Bag by Disaster Designs

I'm a big fan of Disaster Designs. They are the brand behind the paper plane print bags and purses, one bag of which my husband bought me two years back and I've used almost constantly as my handbag since.

They also made the crochet Pirate Bunny my son has had since the day he was born, and still takes to bed every night. Beautiful twee products, even non-girly girls like myself can't help but lust after.

I spotted their Moomin range last summer, and whilst never a huge Moomin fan (they scared me) I still loved the overnight bag, which is the same shape as my Paper Plane one I love so much.

I treated myself to it at Christmas, and here it is. The rain print is actually stitched, a really nice touch. The material is a faux-leather and really soft.
