Adventure of Meno, Bizarre Faux Engrish/Atomic Era Stylised Children's Book

Grabbed this on a brisk trip to the library with my 2 year old son. Attracted by the Jetsons era styling, at least bedtime story time would be aesthetically pleasing that night.

Written by the author of The Spiderwick Chronicles, this little book has a bizarre twist that made me laugh out loud reading through it with my son. Take a peek.

A Bunny Made out of Shells

Shell art is a widely recognised kitsch genre, and not one I'm partial to, or till now have partaken in!

I saw this bunny and the shape reminded me of the Sylvac green rabbits. I've had my eyes peeled for one of those for a while, so this shell mutant Sylvac will do!

Swiss Log Cabin Music Box

I believe I blogged about my Gran's one of these previously. My mum still has that one, but I found the same one in a charity shop today. A lot more battered and fading than Gran's one & the music box isn't working, but it'll go nicely in the Swiss Village!

My New Jaunty Gentleman Fox Tattoo

I already have an upper tattoo sleeve of leopard print & flowers, and a snowglobe on my inner arm, but had been stuck for two years with nothing taking my fancy to put on myself permanently.

I spotted this design by Simon Erl in a tattoo magazine, and my tattooist Chris Crooks at White Dragon Studios, did the piece for me today.
