GIVEAWAY Your Own Mini-Strip Club?!

If you enter this competition, the chances of winning are going to be high. That is, I'm not sure anyone would even want to own this for free.

I made it to house nicknacks, specifically perfume bottles that are too glitzy to just chuck in a make-up bag. You could use it for anything though, I just hope someone enters so I can pass it along!

Just email your name to kitschandink@me.com if you would like to own this tacky monstrosity.

The World of Kitsch in Crisis

I'm having a terrible crisis at the moment. I'm dedicated to kitsch, but in the past two years researching this blog, I've discovered so many things about mid-century design that I'm totally in love with that period.

My husband repainted our living room this week & I've just been rehanging all the Dallas Simpson prints, the holographic poodle & sacred heart Jesus artwork. I'm not sure I love it any more. I certainly don't want to part with it, but I think I want to streamline the living room into a more classic late 60's, early 70's interior.

I still think this wall works, but I'm going to rethink the opposite one. Don't worry. My passion for my boat shaped cocktail bar remains.
