Donate to the NSPCC and Santa Will Write & Post a Letter To Your Child

This time of year is tight for everyone, but charities still need help. Kill two birds with one stone (glad this isn't for the RSPCC.....) and donate any amount to the NSPCC (they recommend £5 but you can change the amount & still receive a letter), and Santa will send a personalised letter to your little one next week. There are several themes to choose from, so if you've more than one child the letters will all be different. There's also an adult themed letter, for your naughty or nice other half!

Boojum Is Offering £3.50 Burritos To Raise Money For Movember. Here's How to Get One.

This November 30th, Belfast's first and best burrito palace, Boojum, is offering you the chance to get one of their famous, hand prepared burritos for just £3.50  

By visiting their Facebook page from 31st October onward, you can apply for and print a moustache. Simply turn up with your moustache on 30/11/13 to claim your spicy prize.  All proceeds go towards Movember charities. If you're more of a fan of their sister restaurant, Bubbacue, keep an eye on their page, as they'll be announcing their charity raiser soon.

Boojum's Mexican Donkey Parade

Boojum Mexican Burrito Bar has a new four legged friend in town; a

life-size donkey statue as a charity parody of the Cow Parade.

Too slow to get his cow suit on to take part in the parade, the Boojum donkey will be alternating between the Botanic
Avenue and Chichester Street restaurants, to raise funds for the work of The Donkey Sanctuary in Mexico.  

An important part of Mexican culture, the donkey is essential in poor communities for transporting goods to market and to help families earn a basic living.  Boojum hope that people will come in store and donate any spare change to the animal welfare charity;
funds will be collected in a blue Donkey Sanctuary box.
