Oloves are Your Healthy Pocket Snack Pack

Oloves are the 50 calorie snack pack that you might have nibbled on mid-flight on a plane, or spotted as an alternative to spicy nuts at a wine bar. Oloves sent me some packs to try, as I am found of popping the odd olive now and then. I ended up eating all three packs in one go. Whoops. Still, that's only 150 calories.

They have got me hooked on olives again. These are soft and slightly tangy and very tasty.

Darling Spuds' Sweet & Salty Popcorn Tastes Exactly Like Cinema Popcorn

I could tell you all about how Darling Spuds' new Sweet & Salty popcorn is gluten free, vegetarian, and lower in fat than other similar snacks. I could also mention the corn is popped in small batches and flavoured with simply sea salt & cane sugar. Or that there are no GMOs or other artificial ingredients and each snack pack is under 40 calories.

The real important part to me is- does it taste good? We tried it out and it tastes exactly like cinema popcorn. Some sweet popcorn can be a bit too sugary, and nothing like cinema style, but Darling Spuds is spot on. Adding in the subtle salt to the mix makes it extra delicious.

You can buy online here, or watch out for packs in your supermarket.

Walkers Hoops & Crosses- Wholegrain Snacking for Cheeky Monkeys

I've been dying to try these, so was pretty pleased when Walkers offered to send us some. I think I got to eat about three of them, as a small someone else snaffled them for his after school snack. Each pack is only 85 calories, and they are made with wholegrain, with no preservatives or artificial additives. We tried the beef flavour which are like a healthy Monster Munch alternative. They also are available in prawn cocktail or salt and vinegar. All three varieties are vegetarian too.

The Nutribox- Healthy Snacks Delivered

Let me get this straight. I am not a healthy eater. I'm a KFC & bag of Galaxy Counters girl. The idea of 'raw food' makes me think of carrots & nuts & misery & despair.

I do get a weekly Graze box, but I've even tweaked the snack choice algorithm there in order to ensure 3 out of the 4 punnets include chocolate. Yeah, that's right.

Anyway, www.TheNutribox.com Team offered to send me a trial of their monthly subscription, healthy eating goodie box, and while raisins & dried slivers of apple don't do it for me USUALLY, I'm also not one to turn down free food.

I opened the box to strangely appealing looking bars & bags. Alien looking to my chocolate aisle lusting eyes, but tempting none the less. Also ACTUAL CHOCOLATE, which obviously was my first stop. The Coconut Om Bar was amazing. Didn't taste like a health food at all, in fact I'm going to go out of my way to find Om Bars in my local health food shop.

The apple crisps are under 70 calories a bag and taste tangy & delicious. There was a brownie! A health food brownie! I'm sold, Nutribox. Would you like to try a box of treats out yourself? Claim a huge 35% off with the code KITSCH35 at www.TheNutribox.com
