21 Crazy Behind the Scenes Photos of Series One of The Aquabats Super Show

The Aquabats is my, I mean my son's favourite new tv show. The Aquabats are an actual touring ska punk band, headed by The MC Bat Commander, who also happens to be Christian Jacobs, the co-creator of Yo Gabba Gabba.
The show is a mix of campy, sixties-esque Batman and Power Rangers. There's a lot of comedy, explosions and subtle jokes for the mums and dads. The UK DVD release isn't until 22nd July, but you can pre-order the Aquabats Supershow Complete Series One here. CITV are currently showing the first series at the weekend, or you can download every episode from iTunes today (this is what I did).

Series two is showing now in the US on The Hub, and I really hope CITV pick it up too. In the meantime, co-creator and director Jason DeVilliers has kindly allowed me to use his behind-the-scenes snaps from series one recording.
